What makes Healthy Hair Shampoo so different?

Our founder, Dr. Eric Pressly, specifically formulated our shampoo to eliminate quaternary amines—large, sticky molecules that coat each strand and thicken the formula. Epres eliminates the need for quats with our patented Biodiffusion™ technology, which helps repair bonds and protect against damage as you wash. You'll experience truly clean hair without the quats, silicones, sulfates and other ingredients that can build up both on the hair and in the environment. 

Your shampoo is more liquid and less sudsy than other shampoos. Why?

Because our shampoo is quat-free, it doesn't have the thick, viscous texture of traditional formulas. It also doesn't generate loads of suds on the first wash; that's because it's removing a deeper level of buildup and debris. If you're looking for a high-lather experience, simply rinse and repeat. Healthy Hair Shampoo is ideal for all hair types and textures, including color-treated hair.

How frequently should I use the shampoo? Do I need to follow with Conditioner?

Simply follow your normal routine. Our shampoo is gentle enough for daily use, but depending on your hair type you might only need to use it twice a week. And its quat-free formula clears the way for optimal performance of our quat-free Healthy Hair Conditioner; the duo was designed to work in unison. 

What's unique about the fragrance and color of the shampoo?

epres is committed to being fragrance transparent. So rather than just saying "fragrance" on our ingredient label, we list Vanillin—the exact ingredient that scents our shampoo and conditioner. Because Vanillin is naturally derived, some color variation in the product is normal, and you might notice a slight deepening over time.

SHINY, HAPPY, HEALTHY HAIR
I love this shampoo! I have been using it for 3 weeks, and I can already see a noticeable difference. It rinses very clean with no residue...best of all, I can tell that I have less breakage and my hair is looking so much better.

I like the clean formula. I didn't love how I felt like I had to wash my hair twice to get a little bit of a lather but I definitely felt like my hair felt clean after the 2 washes. I also didn't love how it felt like the shampoo was very thin so when i poured it into my hand, a lot of it spilled and was wasted but I do love the packaging!!

    Hair Feels Great!

    This shampoo definitely takes getting used to but after using a few times ~ I love it! It is a lot thinner and doesn’t lather like traditional shampoos. I found that it worked best if I poured it directly onto my hair rather than pouring it into my hands and then transferring to my hair. My hair definitely feels clean and smells great - it has a slight vanilla smell - just the right amount of fragrance.

    Heahty Hair Shampoo Review - KL

    Rinsing and repeating was a must. The lather was so much better on the second application.

    The smell was wonderful!

    Left my hair and scalp with a clean feel.

    Packaging was a little difficult to use in the shower as once product was in hand, to close the twist top lid with one hand was a little challenging. Not a deal breaker though.
